Great conference moderation involves ensuring each element of conception and design is working towards the achievement of the overall Conference objectives. At the heart of great facilitation are some robust (yet invisible) communication processes and techniques, coupled with a strong understanding of the dynamics of groups and audiences. If you choose to work with one of the High Impact experienced facilitators, you will witness the art of managing 4 critical flows: Attention, Energy, Information, Operations and the importance of not remaining wedded to a scripted design when it is not delivering as anticipated. There is of course an element of theatricality involved in such events. Understanding stages and the art of theatre as an entertainment form is also important without detracting from the business objectives which should be placed firmly at the forefront of the moderator’s mind.
